Cookie Policy

Cavite Finds uses only the cookies the site needs to work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file a website saves in your browser so it can remember something about your visit.

How we use them

  • Keeping you signed in. If you sign in, cookies remember you so you don't have to sign in on every page. They go away when you sign out or after 14 days.
  • Remembering the cookie notice. Once you click “Got it,” we stop showing the notice for a year.

That's all. If you just browse without signing in, the only cookie we may set is the one for the notice. We do not use cookies for ads, and we do not follow you around other websites. See our Privacy Policy for what else we collect.

Cookies and Philippine law

Cavite Finds is based in the Philippines and follows the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). Here is what that means for cookies:

  • No opt-in needed for the cookies we use. They are only there to make the site work (signing in and remembering the notice), so we tell you about them here instead of asking first.
  • Sign-in cookies are protected as personal information. Because they are linked to your account, we handle them the same way as the rest of your data in our Privacy Policy.
  • We will ask before adding anything else. If we ever want cookies for analytics or ads, we will ask for your permission first, and you can change your mind at any time.
  • You keep your rights. You can ask what information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted by emailing [email protected].

Your choices

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. You can still browse Cavite Finds without them, but you won't be able to stay signed in.
