Who we are

Cavite Finds (cavite-finds.com) is run by the Cavite Finds team. We handle personal data in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). For any privacy question or request, email [email protected].

What we collect

• Newsletter: your email address, so we can send you new guides and listings.
• Suggestions and corrections: your message, plus your name and email if you choose to give them, so we can follow up.
• Listing claims: your name, business email, and message, so we can confirm that you represent the business.
• Accounts: your name, email, and password (stored only as a secure hash), so you can sign in.
• Page views: the page address and the listing or article you viewed. These records do not include your name, email, or a device or session identifier.
• IP address: used briefly to limit abusive traffic. We do not store it.

How we use it

We use your data only to run the site: to send the newsletter you asked for, review submissions and claims, keep your account working, and understand which pages are useful. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the hosting and email providers that run the site for us, and only as needed for that work. We will disclose data if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep newsletter emails until you unsubscribe, account details until you ask us to delete the account, and submissions and claims for as long as we need them to review and maintain listings.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act, you can ask what data we hold about you, correct it, object to its use, or have it deleted. To unsubscribe from the newsletter, delete your account, or make any other request, email us and we will respond within 30 days.
